So we had our 1 yr wedding anniversary the other day! So we spent a few days out in the hunter valley to celebrate, we had an awesome time. If you are ever going out there and want a quiet/secluded/awesome place to stay, then look up 'sincero'. Its our second time there and we cant get enough of it. Hunter valley is so cool, great views, great food & wine....good times! I promised Sarah that the next camera we got would be hers, so she scored the new 5D mkII......dang....

So we had Sarah's brother Josh come back from Japan for a week and we decided to play some French cricket on the beach for some quality family time! We had so much fun, I haven't played that game in years. It also helped that we were playing at the most beautiful time of the day, the light was awesome (I do love my light......)!

My awesome wife got me tickets for xmas to see Coldplay in Sydney! We had a crazy good time, except the support bands were boring..... (though I did love decoder ring's videos).....we got a sweet spot in the crowd, right on the fence, so we were happy!

The other day I got a bargain on ebay, a new Lastolite Ezybox. Bought it for our trip overseas coming up and will come in handy for weddings. I am stoked with the light it produces, considering it is powered by a speedlight. The best part about it is that the softbox folds up into a small 30 ish cm round bag, perfect for travelling with! The family came around for lunch the other day, so they were my guinea pigs.....

Just did a shoot for my mates band The Bright Lights on the weekend. Was a stinking hot day, plenty of burnt red faces. First 'music' shoot i've done with more than one person (ie. first shoot that doesn't include matty purcell..) so it went pretty well.

The other day I got to hang out with one of my favourite people, Mr Brendon Singhdeo, founder of Chosen Servant Ministries. Brendon has been doing mission work for 6 years, spending the last couple of years in Madagascar. He has set up Chosen Servant Ministries in Madagascar which is an organisation with the purpose of feeding the poor and teaching them how to feed themselves, providing education and opportunities for people to succeed in life. This dude is amazing, he is only like 22 yrs old and is doing so much with his life, he is one of my hero's of the faith. So I got my Tronnix Explorer (portable power for studio lights..) in the mail the other day and have been itching to use it, so we cracked it out and got some awesome shots. The idea was to get some shots to use for his ministry, but Brendon's good looks, and suave suit turned them more into fashion shots.....anyway we had a lot of fun doing it. (watch out for the bum in the drain!)
